World Class Speaking Night at Oakwood!

Tokyo Midtown - Tuesday September 18

Special Guest Speaker: Mr. Kenichi Watanabe,

Social Producer, Cool Japan Promoter & Executive Director

We are happy to invite you to our next World Class Speaking Night ! This is a series of informal and fun events open to anyone interested in better communication, public speaking and presentations.

The event includes a nice buffet dinner, coffee tea and drinks—see details further below.

Each event features a short presentation by a former World Class Speaking Program participant, using techniques learnt in the program—followed by a brief speech on World Class Speaking related topics by special guest speakers.

Our special guest this time, Social Producer and Cool Japan Promoter Kenichi Watanabe, will talk about the Cool Japan concept, how it is presented abroad—and how lack of English speaking and presentation skills can lead to missed international opportunities by Japanese companies and organisations.

As an extra bonus of the evening, you will hear from wine expert Todd Stevens about world class Riesling and other great wines from Washington State, some available at the Oakwood bar. Washington State is a world leading producer of Riesling wine—and also makes crisp and elegant Chardonnay wines, among others—and is one of the most exciting stories in the world of wine over the last decade.

Riesling is a great all-round summer wine and goes well with spicy foods. If you like wine, and are looking for something new and fresh—join us and find out more!

You will enjoy a delicious buffet dinner prepared by the Oakwood chef—with coffee, tea and drinks. Meet and talk to new people in the beautiful and inspiring surroundings of The Oakwood!

You can also win a free copy of the World Class Speaking book and ...

—a bottle of seriously cool Washington State Riesling wine!
